Depot Dad Caught in Food Fight at Dim Sum Restaurant
Okay, that didn’t really happen. But the picture is funny and shows off the bizarre bandage that was sewn into my head. Apparently this helps the skin graft “take” and the whole thing will be removed on Thursday.
You can see the scar here running down the front of my ear. It wraps around to the back of the ear, then to the back of my neck, (you can just see it running down along the pillow, then it cuts across the front of my neck.
The surgeons took skin from the front of my right thigh as the source of the skin graft. Today, my thigh is causing me the most pain. It feels like a burn.
I am also looking for a volunteer to help shave the rest of my head, so I can get rid of this hopeless haircut.
I promise not to post any more gruesome pictures. Its just that some of you asked. So there it is. More tales of hospital adventures coming soon. In the mean time, I think I’ll go enjoy some of these.....
